Last week, the SKARB team had the pleasure of attending the Home Hardware Homecoming Show at the Enercare Centre in Toronto, and what an event it was! Our booth was buzzing with visitors eager to see our prefab wall panels—versatile, high-quality building solutions designed for modular construction. From sleek finishes to a variety of customizable options, attendees were excited to see how these panels can simplify construction while saving time and reducing waste.
Prefab modular construction is rapidly changing the way we think about building. Unlike traditional methods, modular approaches allow for parts of a building to be constructed off-site in controlled environments, then quickly assembled on-site. This means projects can move faster, costs can be better controlled, and the environmental footprint can be significantly reduced. For SKARB, our wall panels are more than just building materials—they’re part of a shift toward smarter, more efficient, and sustainable construction practices that are shaping the future of housing, commercial development, and beyond. The uses of our wall panels are various- from bathroom showers, kitchens and feature walls, to fireplaces, backsplash, and corridors.
The Home Hardware show was also an amazing opportunity to meet people doing incredible work in the development and construction space. Builders, designers, and innovators stopped by to explore our panels, ask questions, and share their experiences. Seeing the excitement firsthand reminded us why innovation matters, because the people using these solutions are the ones driving the industry forward.
We’re especially thrilled about the next step: having our products available at Home Hardware stores! This means more builders, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts will have access to high-quality prefab solutions that can transform their projects.
Looking ahead, prefab modular construction is poised to become a major force in the building industry. As communities face growing demand for affordable housing and sustainable development, solutions like SKARB’s panels offer a practical, forward-thinking way to meet those challenges. By combining efficiency, flexibility, and quality, prefab solutions don’t just make building easier—they make building better.
The Home Hardware show was more than just an exhibit for us. It was a reminder that innovation, collaboration, and conversation are what drive progress. We left inspired, energized, and excited to continue building the future, one panel at a time.
